Clients choose to display their artwork and memorabilia in shadowboxes when they want space and depth surrounding their items. This can be for a variety of reasons, among them to create a feeling of depth, to make allowance for the physical size of the items, and sometimes to give the impression the items are “floating in space.”
Earl Carter had called us originally to come install some large and heavy items in his home in Acworth. Then he discovered we run a full-service custom framing business, and asked if we could frame all his University of Nebraska Gymnastics items: among them, 2 certificates and a team photo, along with his 3 rings—college, team and nationals—all together in one shadowbox.
